Lil Nas X Rodeo music video

We had the pleasure of working with LIl Nas X's stylists for his new music video Rodeo. In the video Lil Nas can be seen wearing quite a few Rivithead products. Most notably his boots. I spoke with our phone rep David about the experience and here is what he had to say.
Blue:
Did you have any idea who Lil Nas X was when you got the phone call?
David:
I had no idea who he was. It wasn't until later that I looked him up on YouTube. My 13 year old son came into my office and asked me why I was watching his videos. I told my son I had sold Lil Nas X some boots, clothing and jewelry at work. He freaked out and told me all the kids at school were totally into Lil Nas X.
Blue:
What was it like working with Lil Nas X's Stylist crew?
David:
I mainly worked with Hodo, his stylist. She is a very nice lady, polite and easy to work with. She let me know the style they were looking for, which was a Goth, vampire Matrix look, and let me recommend what I thought would work best.
Blue:
How did the call go when Hodo first called?
David:
Like most entertainment calls I get here at Rivithead she called in on a Thursday afternoon with a rush order that needed to be there on Friday, Saturday morning at the latest. She explained that it was for an artist named Lil Nas X and that she was looking for boots, clothing and jewelry for a music video they were doing that weekend. Its kind of common in the entertainment industry to get rush orders like that. I am used to dealing with it and can usually pull everything together in time for them. Saturday Night Live does it to me all the time.

Would you want to work with his team again?
David:
Definitely! It was a real pleasure working with them.
Blue:
What did you think of the new Rodeo video when you saw it?
David:
I loved! I really liked the look and feel of the video. It is a very unique Goth/Vampire/Matrix rap video. I also had no idea they would release the video so quickly. I was looking him up the week after I worked with Hodo and the first video I found was his Rodeo video. I saw the white Gravediggers in the first scene and thought "how could they have already made and released the video so quickly, this cant be it can it?". But, it was and I had a fun time picking out all the Rivithead items. But, I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I though it was well done and Lil Nas X looks like a fun guy to work with.

What do you think of Lil Nas X's music?
David:
I am not a huge rap fan but, I think Lil Nas X is an exception for me. I definitely respect his ability to pull all those genres together into something that really works well. And, obviously I loved the style his Rodeo video. I also liked the other videos I saw. He really does a good job at taking genres that you would never think of combining and making something that just works together.
